Symphony Park brings forward plans for pioneering, luxury over 65s development at Heatherley Woods, Alderley Park, Cheshire

Promising to break down the preconceptions surrounding senior living, the team behind Vita Group has revealed plans for its first Symphony Park development with the mission of creating a retirement community of the highest standard in the heart of Cheshire.

Symphony Park, Heatherley Woods will deliver 159 luxury apartments with services and amenities akin to a grand 5* hotel.

Set in Bruntwood SciTech’s Alderley Park, the funds raised through the land receipt will help to fund two new developments which will provide space for life science and tech businesses and key worker accommodation for those working on the Park.

The plans for the project demonstrate Symphony Park’s thirst for premium architecture, creating sought after spaces with real kerb appeal that respond to their residents. Extensively landscaped, the plans will complement the scenic surrounding of the 400 acre Alderley Park estate.

Of the 159 luxury apartments for over 65s, they’ll be a mix of one, two and three-bed apartments available, each featuring beautifully styled interiors with the very-best handcrafted workmanship throughout.

Alongside the 159 luxury apartments, the plans include a host of resident services and amenities which you would expect from an exclusive 5* hotel including a wellbeing centre with pool, exercise studios along with treatment rooms offering therapeutic treatments, a nail bar and hair salon all tailored to promote the wellbeing of residents.

There’s also a resident’s restaurant, bar and coffee lounge serving high-quality food for residents to ‘eat out’ or order ‘in’. Plans also include private dining rooms for entertaining family and friends, along with study and meeting rooms to enjoy hobbies socialise with fellow residents.

Fully managed, the site will create a number of new jobs for the local community including a village manager, events manager, concierge and valet. In total the scheme is expected to employee over 40 full-time members of staff, with additional care staff recruited in-line with the residents’ care needs.

Supporting resident wellbeing further, the plans also bring forward an on-site GP practice with experienced GP and nursing team, ensuring resident care is front and centre to the proposition. There will also be access to industry-leading at home care, adapting in-line with the resident’s needs. Additional resident services will also include a domestic assistance team offering cleaning and maintenance.

Trevor Moore, Symphony Park CEO said: “Reimagining retirement living to create an outstanding proposition which responds to the needs of its residents has created what promises to be a thriving community for over 65s. The beautiful design and architecture met with the very best amenities such as the wellness spa and onsite GP practice complement the existing environment whilst helping to fund key worker accommodation and a new life science building.”
