Vita Group signs four new retail and leisure tenants for Circle Square

Vita Group signs four new retail and leisure tenants for Circle Square. The joint venture between Vita Group and Bruntwood SciTech has seen the former BBC site completely transformed into a thriving mixed-use community. 

Now the quickly populating, Manchester city centre development on Oxford Road is starting to welcome its first retail and leisure providers. The new tenants include; Japanese tea and dessert café, Tsujiri, Manchester’s newest chicken restaurant, Bird of Prey, Asian food and skincare store, Momo Cosmetics, and traditional bubble tea shop, Uncle T. 

Tsujiri will be opening its second Manchester site taking a 1,302 sqft space underneath the Vita Living North tower. Customers will get an enhanced offer as this Tsujiri will also include a traditional Japanese sake bar, Monkey Trio offering a range of Japanese sakes, whiskies and matcha beers. The Tsujiri café will have seating for 28, whilst the Monkey Trio will have a seating for 25. 

Bird of Prey, also be opening underneath Vita Living North which faces Charles Street, is taking a 1,270 sqft space. A new concept created by The Restaurant Guys, Bird of Prey will be bringing a range of chicken-based dishes made with its special dredging and frying process for a unique taste, as well as specialty shakes and homemade sauces. 

Momo Cosmetics will be located underneath Vita Living East in a 626 sqft space. The new retailer is due to bring a wide range of popular and high-quality Japanese and Korean skin care products & food and is due to open in May 2022. 

Finally, Uncle T, will be bringing a menu of traditional bubble tea with a Manchester-twist. Like Momo Cosmetics it will also reside under Vita Living East in a smaller unit, taking 322sqft. 

The four tenants are expected to create a further 20 jobs in the area once they are open, complementing Circle Square’s ever-expanding retail and leisure mix. Acting agent for Vita Group’s retail and leisure offering is Lyons Thompson Letts Property Consultants.
