A decade ago, Vita Student started out with the mission to ‘re-invent student accommodation, putting the needs of the students first, providing them with a platform to ‘begin big,’ a decade on, and Vita Student is celebrating its 10th anniversary.
The brand first landed in the market in 2013 with 358 beds in Liverpool, since then, the business has gone from strength-to-strength and enjoyed rapid growth, opening new residences in each of the major Russell Group university cities. In September, the business opened the doors to its 10,000th bed, with new residences opening in Belfast, Edinburgh, and Coventry.
Along the way, the business has had cause to celebrate success on multiple occasions, including completing deals with major institutions such as DWS, AXA IM and Mapletree, totalling over £1B and helping to realise the brand’s future growth plans.
Now, as it enters on its 10th year of inspiring residents to ‘begin big’ the brand has launched its 10th anniversary campaign ‘Beyond Ambition.’
Celebrating with residents past and present, the Beyond Ambition campaign kicked off with a 10-year alumni re-union event at Vita Student Circle Square. The glitzy event was a chance to inspire the next generation of residents that ambition never ceases, and that they can achieve anything they put their mind to. The evening included inspiring talks from former residents who’ve gone on to do incredible things as well as other titans of industry.
A Beyond Ambition website page has also been created featuring some incredible resident stories, from elite athletes to top-level executives, there are eight inspiring stories brought to life through words and film.
Throughout the year, Vita Student will continue to celebrate this huge milestone with 10 Beyond Ambition life-changing competition prizes for residents to win, there’s everything from a business start-up kit to a year’s free rent.
There’s also a jam-packed roster of Beyond Ambition resident events, all tailored to help residents maximise their success including CV writing workshops, big talks, resilience, and mental wellbeing workshops and much, much more.
Max Bielby, Chief Operating Officer for Vita Group said: “Over the last decade, Vita Student has surpassed expectations, creating a true, branded, residential living experience for students. Now as the business celebrates its 10th anniversary, it’s the future of the brand, and the opportunities which lie ahead which capture me – a chance to go beyond ambition. It’s this thought, this sentiment which we aim to instil and inspire our residents and our colleagues with as we look ahead to what could be achieved together over the next decade.”
